Is this safe for my russian to eat

Hi. Is anyone able to tell me what this weed is and if it is safe for my 8 Yr old Russian. It seems to be everywhere at the moment. I'm in the UK. Thank you.

I don't know that one. Have you tried any of the plant ID apps?
Hi, thanks for your reply. I didn't even think to try an app but have found one and it's amazing . It has given me the attached info which if correct I don't think it's safe to feed my tortoise so I'll avoid it . Thanks again.

That doesn't look like comfrey leaves to me but I live in the US and they could look different here. The kind I had were broader leaved. But even though it's not a good food it is a good medicine for broken bones. Comfrey's nickname is bone knit.You can use the leaves as a poltice on the skin and it really does work. Is it kind of prickly like ours?

Thank you for this information 👍. Yes it has a very prickly underside. At least I now know to avoid giving it to my tort .
