Hi there! I'm located in Tuscaloosa AL and can't seem to find Sulcatas anywhere! I've been searching for month's with no success and it makes me very nervous to purchase one and have it sent through the mail.

Greetings & Welcome. Many people purchase tortoises & have them shipped. Ours here in Maryland came over night express from California.
Stick with tried & true/confirmed good sellers. It’s worth it in the short & long term. Don’t dwell too much (or at all) on location Of the seller.

I occasionally post a CRAIGSLIST ad for UNWANTED TORTOISES.
Although I specify REDFOOT TORTOISES, at least half of the respondents have an unwanted Sulcata that has outgrown its welcome.
I suggest that you give that a try.
