Download these two apps on your phone:

PictureThis - This one allows you to take a picture of whatever plant you're wondering about, and it will tell you the general and scientific name. Just keep in mind the app isnt perfect and make sure the pictures match between the app and the plant in your yard

The Tortoise Table - Take the general and/or scientific name of the plant identified through PictureThis and enter it into the app, that will tell you if the plant is safe to eat.

This is what I do, and it has helped a ton in identifying edible plants for my tort

Yes, both are good for your tortoise. First pix is clover, and pix two & three are Broadleaf Plantain. All good as long as they haven’t been sprayed with any pesticides/herbicides.
