Dear every one,
The jumping print must be an across the pond thing maybe. I don't have that on my phone. But as far as Blue **** goes we'll see when I post this. Sometimes I can get by with it πŸ˜‰

Dear Sue,

I thought that I had pressed something on this phone that made the typing go up and down! I'm glad it's not just me! My reply looks very funny with all the 'swear' words and I just feel sorry for Long-tailed ****, Blue ****, Great ****, Crested **** and and Coal ****🀣🀣🀣🀣🀣🀣🀣!

My current flat is near the Southend Conservation area and it is a pleasant walk along the seafront to Southend Pier one way or towards Leigh Old Town (Fishing Village) the other way.

I went back to the exam centre before lunch for my Initial grade Pianist and he seemed quite pleased when he came out. I am now relaxing before teaching but I am aware that Jacky could be coming out as it is quite pleasant outside.

Natrah

PS: I hope Angie is okay.

PPS: I went back to edit this post and it's hilarious 🀣🀣🀣🀣🀣🀣🀣!
Dear Natrah - I wonder if Jacky did in fact come out, and was awake to greet you when you got home ? It was cold and very wet here today, and although we went to Bude for some shopping, we didn't go to look at the sea, as my dad said it was invisible through the rain. I was rather cross, and I'm afraid I took it out on my mum a bit in the afternoon - my dad lit the fire early, so she and I could sit by it, but I wouldn't stay still for long, and in the end I had to go back to my conservatory. I think she sat by the fire for a long time, though, resting her head.
My mum said to tell you that she is okay, but her headaches are rather bad at the moment- she thinks the weather affects them, and she is trying to cut down on her pills, in the hope that will make her less wobbly.
You didn't say whether you played the harp? I really like listening to it.
It's strange how people assume tortoises can't hear, isn't it - I can hear my mum coming long before she gets to my room, and I run out to greet her - and I like some music a lot, and will stay very still listening to it. I don't like very loud harsh sounds at all, though.
Have your pupils finished all their exams now?
My mum and I hope your sinuses are better now.
Goodnight and love to Jackie and Angel Daisy, and to you and our other friends from Angie and Zola xxxxxx

Dear Zola,

I'm afraid I don't play the harp but I'd like to learn one day. Sometimes we have a harpist with the orchestra and I have a harp being driven in one car and the player in another. Is your mum okay this evening? I have been less chesty today but will take cough medicine before bed

I came back to find that Jacky had moved but hadn't come out so she might come out tomorrow. Yes the exams are over apart from a Theory exam.

Anyway Sapphire your mum's post has been censored because she used a rude word and Blue **** have no place on this forum 🀣🀣🀣🀣🀣🀣!

Goodnight everyone and Angie I hope you feel better soon

Just letting you all know that my other forum has no problems with birds called ****🀣! However there is still a problem with Borley-Cum-Liston. Borley is a tiny Essex village which once had a famous rectory.

Dear MaNaAk πŸ€—,
I've cum to the conclusion that I can't post Blue **** because of the Blue Smurfs we have in our country.😁

Good morning Cathie,

The same goes for Great ****, Crested **** etc 🀣🀣🀣!

Natrah
Dear Natrah - I hope you've had a nice day. It has been very windy and rainy today here, and I just had a small walk with my dad - I have been racing around my room a lot, and I didn't really want to stay with my mum to be stroked by the fire - my parents call it my" I don't know what I want, but I want it NOW !!!!!!" mood. It worries my mum a bit, but she knows by now that I will get over it. I don't suppose Jacky or Daisy ever behaved like this, did they?
Goodnight to you, Jacky, Angel Daisy, and all our friends from Zola and Angie xxxxx
PS - Amanda - if you give Ernie lots of strokes, his shell will probably become really smooth like mine.

Dear Zola,

Do you think your mood is affected by the weather? It was miserable here in the morning but better in the afternoon. I noticed poor old Jacky had moved about in the Pet Carrier but decided not to come out. She really likes the sun to shine in her room before coming out. I hope your mum's headaches were better today.

My sinuses are tolerable but not helped by a woman spraying air freshener on the bus on the bus on the way to Rayleigh and what a passenger having a blazing row with the driver it was like a journey from hell. I hope Amanda, Sue and Cathie are okay.

Ernie you looked liked you were having a feast. Sapphire have been out at all? Have you been eating? Dickie have you been out and eating and how about you Sherman? Are you keeping the maintenance man busy or do you think he needs to work harder? You must see plenty Blue **** where you are🀣. I heard Blue ****, Great **** and Goldfinches today🀣.

Goodnight everyone and goodnight night little tortoises.

Dear Natrah,
I eat when I want to right now. One day it's sunny, the next it's not. Some days I'm sleepy and the sun shining in the window wakes me up 🌞 like it or not. It makes me hungry πŸ˜‹. I hate it when mommy dearest wakes me up though, I was only trying to sleep a lot. But at least she does let me move in 🐒 🐒🐒 time somewhat.

Hello Natrah & Jacky
Iβ€˜m back in the garden again as it’s turned mild. My dad found some young dandelions so I ate some of them to make him happy. I’m still quite lethargic & sleepy like Jacky but as the days get longer & sunnier I will perk up more. I have investigated the garden walls & all seems to be in order. My favourite bushes are still there & the birds keep me company & wake me up very early, which I’m not so keen on. Im liking my nice warm bed so go to bed early.
Pete will look in on Sherman tomorrow.
Goodnight all & pleasant dreams Jacky, Angel Daisy, Zola, Ernie & Sapphire & anyone else I haven’t met yet 🐒

Dear Natrah - this is just really to say goodnight to you, as I haven't done anything very interesting to tell you I have eaten quite a lot, which my mum is pleased about, and climbed about in my room a lot too - unfortunately I fell on to my back, when my mum wasn't there, but she picked me up and gave me a long cuddle, and I felt quite all right.
I hope your sinuses are a bit better -what on earth was the person spraying air freshener on the bus for ? My mum has to be careful about some smells which make her feel sick - such as the shelves of boxes of powdered detergent in supermarkets.
I do hope you feel better tomorrow, and that you manage to sleep properly tonight.
Love from Zola to you, Jacky, Angel Daisy, Sapphire Ernie and all our other friends xxxxx
And love from Angie too xxxxx

Good evening Zola, Sapphire, Ernie, Leo and Dickie,

I hope you're mums were able to enjoy Mother's Day and I hope you are okay after yesterday's incident Zola. Jacky still hasn't emerged but I am keeping an eye on her. Anyway I put some daffodils in a vase to remember mum but sadly I still can't stop thinking of Daisy. Dickie I hope you're parents are okay and I'm thinking of you too Sherman.

My sinuses are still a nuisance but I'm not chesty like I was. I had some good news this Mothers Day in that my pupils passed their exams. I better get going now because dinner has arrived.

Goodnight everyone but I hope that Angie is okay and also I think of Sue as well,

Oh Natrah - I am so pleased about your pupils !!! It didn't take long for them to be told - I sort of assumed it would be like A levels and such, and take weeks. I hope your work with them is fully appreciated. Will you go on teaching them to the next level ?
Jacky will be very impressed, I'm sure. If not, then she jolly well should be !!
Zola has been in a funny mood still - I think he would like to be outside more, but one of us has to be there with him at all times - even in the cold and the pouring rain, like today, and Zola would get very chilled. We had a shortish cuddle by the fire, but then he decided he wanted some more food, and got restless. Sometimes I think how nice it is that he is able to be contrary and moody - he really does have a mind of his own - maybe he wouldn't be quite so interesting if he just did what we wanted all the time.
I am still very wobbly, but have started walking outside with a stick in each hand -it may look a bit silly, but I find I can balance much better, and feel more confident - but I still have trouble crossing roads and on uneven ground.
Anyway, congratulations again, and love from Zola and me
Angie xxx

Hello Natrah
went over to sort out a few things at Father in laws house today. Pete saw Dickie earlier on today & again later. She told us she hadn’t been out at all but I think the photo tells a different story! Glad to see a few dandelions about, her favourite food, unfortunately not in the garden so we have to stop the car & pick a few as we go along.
Goodnight everyone

Dear Natrah - it won't be long until Easter, and Zola always has a special Easter photo - he emails it to his friends, and Richard and I also print some copies out, stuck on to cards, for some of our friends and relatives who would particularly appreciate it. I have several pictures from previous years, and I thought you might like to see them too, so I will send them in the next pre- Easter days - here is the first ....
08_sm2.jpg This is in our garden, in 2018, I think.

Dear Dickie,

I know you haven't been out you have just moved about in your enclosure. I have also been moving about in my Pet Carrier but Natrah thinks I have come out. The only people you listen too are our tortoise friends.

There is a tortoise on here called Leo (@LeoTheWaywardTortoise) who hasn't been on this thread for some time he is a Sulcata who lives in the US and his mum couldn't believe her eyes when she looked out on the verandah one night and found a tortoise there. Leo's father was very wary so they couldn't bring him in but when they found that he had stayed the night they took him in until they located his owner. His owner took him back but he turned up on the verandah again and made his own choice.

Goodnight Dickie, Sherman, Albertina, Zola, Sapphire and Ernie

Jacky and Angel Daisy
