Sorry I’ve caused some confusion, made me laugh though.😂
Pete is my partner who helps out doing repairs at the animal sanctuary where Sherman the Sulcata lives. The photo is a recent one of Sherman who weighs 16 st! He has attitude as you can see so I doubt very much Pete would be able to measure him. I’d like to know how the staff managed to weigh him ☺️
i think Sapphire would be wise to keep out of Shermans way if they were to ever meet. Natrah knows about the occasion he walked across Petes tool box & crushed the lid 🤣
Sherman is a lot bigger than Albertina, she a younger Sulcata & only a small tank!

Hello Natrah - it has been very wet and windy here today - we did go to look at the sea, but I just had my head out from my dad's coat. I have had a long sit by the fire being cuddled by my mum, and I expect that later we shall watch some tv. We have been watching the David Attenborough programmes, of course, but my mum and I find the background music very loud - if you turn it down, you can't hear what he is saying properly. My mum ends up covering her ears. What do you think about it ?

Dear everyone,
It's been rainy and chilly here also. Tomorrow about 1am we're supposed to get a repeat of really high winds like last weekend. I'm taking down my bird feeders before I go to bed this evening. I don't want anyone to get hit in the head and destroy my feeders 😏😉. So I fed the birds extra today and they were busy throwing it all on the ground by the beak full. I think they know me and the weather somehow and are planning ahead. I know that's a ridiculous thought but they won't have the feeders again until Sunday. At least they'll have something on the ground in the meantime for breakfast lunch and dinner in between the wind gusts of 60+ mph.

Jacky was like Sapphire and stayed in all day today and moved about in the Pet Carrier. Zola and Dickie were very brave and got some very fresh air. I just did the shopping and went to the pupils. Hopefully tomorrow will be better.
I did give Jacky a cuddle when I put her to bed though

Sapphire did come out of his little wooden hut and eat pretty good. I just haven't been able to take him for a ride outside yet. It's not quite warm enough yet outside. One day it's warm the next it's cold and wet still. It will be soon I hope. It breaks my heart to tell him no it's not time yet. His too.🥺

Dear Sue,
I think she woke up and wanted to come out. Of course I wanted her to be able to come out if she wanted so I unzipped the front of the Pet Carrier as I always buy she was the wall when I put her to bed and it looks like she tried to come either the back or the side so I will have how I put her to bed. I think you can only make her as safe as possible. Anyway I picked her up and gave her a cuddle and she is sleeping in the Pet Play Pen in the garden. It's not sunny here but it is mild so Jacky needed the fresh air. The trouble with Jacky is that she is into climbing and Daisy was into digging and tunnelling.

Dear Natrah - I have been out with my dad and mum this morning, and the weather was horrible - very strong wind and heavy rain - I was very brave, of course, and kept my head out to look at the waves, but it wasn't very nice, and possibly the shortest walk my dad has ever taken me on.So please tell Jacky that I advise her to stay put, and no climbing - the wind would pull her down in no time. And, as you know, I am a keen climber myself !

You are very brave and the wind has calmed down here. Jacky has been asleep outside but I shall have to get her in soon as I need to get ready to go out to dinner. It's been calmer today but I don't like the look of that tornado in America. Hope Leo and Sapphire are okay. I shall unzip the side of the Pet Carrier as well tomorrow so that Jacky can get out that way as well.

Hello Natrah - my mum measured me again today, and she says I am still under 7inches long - there are translucent areas on the edge of my shell in some places, which look like new growth, but they haven't changed for some time.
She will weigh me tomorrow, preferably before I eat, but after I have had a pee - this can be difficult to time !
Jacky is very lovely, but I think I would be a bit over-awed by her if we met, as she must have seen and learned so much in her life.
I hope I don't get much bigger, as it's nice that I can be held in one hand - however, my mum always carries me with both hands, because of her being a bit wobbly.
Maybe the weather will be better tomorrow, and then I can go in the garden, although the lawn will be pretty wet. I like my dandelions as fresh as possible.
