Dear Natrah,
I carry Sapphire with two hands also. He's just a little fella but for safety reasons I do. He looks like he's swimming in the air sometimes 🤣. He doesn't struggle because he knows where he's going but an accident could happen on his way to the great outdoors. I can't wait to get him outside and he can hardly wait too. It's soon because his outdoor enclosure warmed up to 83°f today. The Crab Apple tree is starting to get leaves also. Spring is springing.

Yes it's warming up here too and Jacky went out today without any problems. I hope you're okay you have a beautiful garden I see. I am three minutes walk from the sea.

I went out this afternoon and slept in the open air. I also had some cuddles from Natrah but I want her to ask you whether the three of you will grow anymore although actually I realise Zola is still growing.

Dear Sherman,

How old are you and Dickie and are you still growing? Also how many other tortoises do you have with you at the moment?

Hello Natrah - it has been a bit wet ,windy and cold today, so I just had a look at the sea in my usual place. There was a lady who was doing a survey, who said she had seen a porpoise in the sea there earlier - and we heard some skylarks. I love skylarks - you are looking at the water, when suddenly you realise you are hearing them above you, over the sound of the waves, even though you can't see them.
My dad has finished a lovely Easter picture, which you will see on the proper day, and also my mum hopes the one she is doing will get finished - she needs some sunlight in the garden for it

I’m told now that Sherman is still a teenager, hasnt got to his twenties yet. He has only been at the sanctuary for about 5 yrs. As he is young he probably is still growing.
Dickie is about 56 yrs old & is still growing slowly.

I got to spend some time outside today although I did sleep quite a bit whilst I was there it was a lovely day although Natrah says that there were three police cars picking up an abandoned car in an adjacent road. Anyway Sherman I think you're going to weigh 17 stone at some point and Zola has your mum been out with you two at all as we are concerned about her. We hope she is okay.

We hope that the house clearance is going okay at your FIL's house Sue and that Cathie and Amanda are okay. How are Dickie, Sapphire and Ernie and also @MenagerieGrl what's your tortoises name?

Hello Natrah - don't worry about me - I do go out with Zola and his dad, but at the moment I can't walk very far, as I'm too wobbly - but I try to go a bit further every day. It's my balance rather than my legs that is the problem, and I find that walking with 2 sticks works best, rather than hanging on to Richard - and is better for him too, of course. He likes to go for long walks by himself along the coast path, or along the canal, and if it's warm enough, he takes Zola too. I wouldn't want to go with them as I would just slow them down so much, at the moment.
What a lovely smooth shell Jacky has - it seems like she is the opposite to humans, getting smoother, while humans get wrinkly !

I have Seymour'rrrr a Leopard Tortoise, and actually will be 5 years old tomorrow, and a escape artist Russian, named Junior who is about 15. I have velcro'd a Tile tracker to their backsides with a piece of duct tape over it to keep them from scraping it off when they wander off in the yard...(escape artist). Right now the sun is out, but it is cold & windy, so there are no outdoor excursions for the day...

I think you’re right!
House clearance going ok thanks. The beds are being collected Wednesday. Some of the wooden chairs have past evidence of woodworm so they will have to be disposed of too. Brother in law has just sold something on eBay that I didn’t think would sell which is good. There is such a lot to clear out from the garage, tools of the trade. Some of my dads tools, ladders & drills are there too which were passed on to Petes dad being in same line of work.
Dickie only ventured out for a short time today. Athough it was a lovely sunny day there was a chilly wind. Sometimes she digs herself into the ground instead of going back in her house but Pete always finds her & puts her to bed.

I wasn't laughing because you're wobbly cause I am too.🙃 sometimes I wind up falling on my butt. I was laughing because it's funny that tortoises keep looking better than me.😁. It doesn't matter how old they are they don't have wrinkles ( lucky torts). They're so cute 🥰 I have a bounty but at least they're laugh lines.

Hello Natrah, Jacky & Angel Daisy.
I let Seymour know that he received a very special Happy birthday song this morning from you.
I was very busy the end of last year, so I missed the troubles & pains you and Jacky went through with Daisy's illness. I am heartbroken 😭to learn of Daisy's passing. I found TFO back in November of 2020, when My Buddy Gigantor, a Hermann's was Ill, Only to pass a short time later. so I understand how much you must miss dear Daisy.
Gigantor was a rescue, So I have no idea how old he was, nor his past. But we tried to give him the best life. As with many Tortles, Gigantor was a loner, so Seymour did not see much of him, But Seymour is doing very well, I'm very happy to report. And he is already up and wandering this morning (7:15am). He must know it is a special day🎂. He will get some treats that he normally does not get, to make the day special.
The mornings are very chilly right now, but the sun is already rising, so once it warms up a bit, I will be escorting my Seymour and Junior out to my side yard enclosure to get some fresh air & sunshine, While I spend the day cleaning bird 🦜🦜🦜🦜🦜🦜🦜🦜🦜cages...

It looks like Seymour enjoyed his birthday. After the gas man gave the flat a good check and clean bill of health I went out to lunch. Jacky hardly materialised although she walked around the Pet Carrier.
