The July contest

Entries are open from Friday, July 12 through Friday, July 26 on Saturday, July 27 the pictures will be placed on a thread for submitters to check. Voting will be Sunday, July 28 through Wednesday, July 31.

The Theme

It's the tortoise days of summer!

You might want to show us your tortoise cooling off in his water or maybe taking a mudbath. Perhaps "running" through the sprinklers? How about a picture of them feasting on a nice juicy chunk of sweet watermelon? Maybe they got all fancied up for the Fourth of July? Let's see what you come up with showing your tortoises enjoying the tortoise days of summer. :)

(Sorry this is late. I had attempted to draw a few fun sketches of summer tortoises, but then my system wouldn't let me upload them. :( Decided it was either kill more time trying to be "cute" and creative or give you that time for picture taking. The pictures won. :D )
