Last night I decided it would be a good idea to check my hygrometers and thermometers and make sure they were all on the same page still. I am very surprised to find out that they were not. I left a digital hygro/thermometer out next to an analog hygrometer and an analog thermometer. My analog hygrometer was reading about 60-70 humidity while the digital was reading humidity around 20-30. Where they were sitting there is NO way that there is more than 20-30 humidity right now. Looks like the analogs got old (owned them for about a year and a half) and I'm not sure when in the past 4 months or so since I last checked them like this that they stopped reading correctly.
Anyhow, the reminder is this: Verify and double-check your thermometers and hygrometers every once in a while. Your torts will thank you for it.
