Just ordered 4 bags of tortoise foods from pet mountain including some tortoise salad and mealy worm tortoise treats. Awesome!!!!

This individual has some pyramiding unfortunately......
It's not bad at all and he's young enuf you can stop it from getting worse and the smoother his new growth is the less the carapace will pyramid. I could have told you that in person and got to hug a greasy tortoise but you just ignore my pressure...lol

How did you apply the oil? Rub it on?

I've been rubbing coconut oil on my leopard for years. The shell is easy but I could never quite get it on his legs and face where I wanted, especially when he looked dry. I started putting some olive oil with water into a spray bottle and spray his face and legs that way. It works wonderfully!!

If you can rub the oil on with your fingers, kuddos to you. But if you struggle like I did, the water bottle will be your new favorite tool. :cool: :tort:
