John, do you find the quality of pattern/coloring of the parent will then produce a higher percentage of similarly patterned offspring? In my spotted turtles, really nice, high-spot parents will normally produce similar traits in the offspring.

Well, maybe I have more scutes to show?

Each one is of a different animal, and multiple different bloodlines there. I would say yes, but with caution Mark. The genetic back history is probably more important then over all looks in color reproduction. Not always do the adults need to look yellow to produce it but they are pretty to look at!
