So I found a snail in the garden and decided to put it in the closed chamber to see if the torts will eat it. And I put Kang in front of it. This is what happened. Granted it would most probably have been better if they had not just eaten. I will leave it in there and see what happens.
Reminded me of the joke: what did the snail say while on the tortoises back?.......wheeeeeeeee20181217_191113.jpeg

I found mushrooms growing in the enclosure so I had to clean it out and put in new substrate. The problem is that I cannot always find orchard bark. So i had to go back to coco coir and milled bark for the top. Hopefully it does not become too messy.20181225_191207.jpeg20181225_191219.jpeg20181225_191223.jpeg

Should I then post a couple of pics of myself then? :p ;):D;)

Well of course!!! But when traffic gets heavy in South Africa, you’ll have no one to blame but yourself:)))..... of course, this may provide the perfect diversion for me to abscond with one of those amazing torts[emoji16][emoji847][emoji847][emoji847]

As promised some more pics of the gang. While they were enjoying their outside time I cleaned their enclosure. Photo heavy as alwaysView attachment 263346
Oops sent it before loading all the pics. [emoji23] So maybe not so photo heavy. I decided to create a little hill for them to climb up and down and thereby give them some opportunity of strengthening their muscles.20190127_192606.jpeg20190127_192623.jpeg20190127_192641.jpeg20190127_192701.jpeg20190127_192801.jpeg20190127_192821.jpeg20190127_192844.jpeg20190127_192904.jpeg20190127_192922.jpeg20190127_192947.jpeg20190127_193011.jpeg
