Last night I decided to put some grass into their enclosure as I did not like the mess from the small orchid bark being dragged into their water bowls. As well as their previous hides being knocked over and dragged everywhere. So new hides were put in. Grass put it. = a slope on the one side and better hide aways for them. Hopefully more exercise and even happier torts. We will asses how they like the grass etc and change it if it does not work. Yes I know the grass will probably die but that is fine. If they like the new setup better I will just keep replacing the grass. Screenshot_20180727-115436.jpeg

Hi Todd,

How are you?

These don't get very big. I am not sure exactly how big they can get, but I don't think it would be bigger than 2kg = about 4.4lbs. My male if I remember correctly is about 1.5kg (3.3lbs) and the female is around 1kg (2.2lbs) give or take a few.

I have a 3m x 1.5m avairy in my garden. It does not have any birds in at the moment and as such I have decided that it will do nicely as an outside enclosure for my babies. I will need to take some more photos of the outside enclosure as the current ones that i took are too large. So will need to take a smaller size picture.

Beautiful pictures of your tortoises and their enclosures. They must be very happy living with you. Happy torts are healthy und grow well. That`s what the pictures are showing.
