Hello! I have just taken in a 5 year old red footed tortoise that was kept very dry before I got it. I have begun to soak it everyday to help it but what is the best way to keep its indoor habitat humid all day long.

You need a closed chamber, warm moist substrate, a water bowl, nice humid hide and keep up with the soaks.

Using a large closed chamber, you can maintain high humidity with a relatively dry surface layer, which is important to prevent shell rot in a RF.
