No way to know age by size. They grow at highly variable rates and for a wide variety of reasons.

There's no way to tell for sure they all grow at different rates. At that size though I'd guess he's probably about 2 years old.

I was reading somewhere in the forum that red foots at 1 year they can weight 900 g ?

What about the rings method? To know the age? I did it with him and result is 3 years with 5 months? But then I read that the rings only tells when the tortoise have had lots of food o have not ate at all.. big rings means plenty of food small rings mean no food at all. Although I read that a tortoise can look older than what it is. If it has had rough conditions.
