We've been trying all kinds of different fruits, veggies and protein for our boxie and just the other night we tried kiwi fruit and holy hell he's IN LOVE. He was munching on some banana and greens and as soon as he smelled the kiwi it was like nothing else in the world mattered. It was pretty funny. Then he seemed very disappointed that he didn't have more. We feed fruit sparingly to him as its more of a candy treat then anything. He is becoming quite spoiled with his new diet with tons of variety :p

He gobbled it up so fast there wasn't time. Next time we feed it to him I'll try to grab a picture :)

I would suggest that if you have a reluctant feeder, ANYthing that sparks appetite is good.

Based on the USDA link above kiwi is not so bad, the Calcium:phosphorus is 1:1 so at least aside from high carbohydrate it may be a good hook to keep some individuals chowing down.

This guy definately isn't a picky eater, but that would be good information for other people who might have a picky eater on their hands
