I can’t post a video here, but if you follow me on Facebook “tortstork” or Instagram @tort.stork you can see the time lapse video of the incubation process. These are just still images. The leopard baby was able to puncture the mucous membrane, which starts the process of the membrane evaporating. The yolk sac absorbs most of the blood from the membrane. Once the membrane was fully evaporated, i transferred the baby to a container of very moist paper towels for it to complete incubation while absorbing the yolk sac.
