Light and food

IF I have to leave my turtle from tomorrow morning to the following afternoon will he be ok? How much food do I leave and do I leave the light on or off? It is a heat an uv in one. 100w. Will he be ok or is that absolutely not an option??

Hi..I am confused...when you say "turtle" are you referring to your sulcata tortoise?

Well...if you use the humid and warm method of keeping I would suggest not turning the heat source off as the temps may drop below 80.....now that is my feeling....you possibly could add an extra spot for shade so your tortoise can get out of the brightness some.....
