Got a question for you radiata owners.

How long does your radiated tortoise spend under the MVB lamp?
Whats the temperature at the basking spot?

Mine spends time under the lamp after its done eating and when the light comes on in the morning. Temp is at 32-35 degrees celsius. Once its fed, it'll move to the basking spot automatically. Spends hours resting/napping there b4 retreating into its hidebox to sleep away.

Mine don't come out to bask....they come out to feed....in the morning or evening...sometimes in the noon. The temps are mild now, so it fluctuates more. In the summer, they come out in morning or evening only.

Mine do not like the heat either. They do walk around a lot, but would hide away from sunlight and only come out for the veggies.

Ah Ic. All of u have got outdoor enclosures. Most unfortunate for me.
My tortoise is given a gradient in it's indoor enclosure. Funny how he prefers to bask tho.
I'm sure he'd hide frOm the heat if placed in an outdoor environment as it gets a whole lot warmer, I'd say hot too.
