Little growth?

Hey guys

As you know i just got my little bean last week

I noticed what looks like a little growth or little pimple like at the very end of his top beak.. And its not dirt or food..

Ever saw that before?

Any ideas what it could be? If anything..

It might be the egg tooth where did you obtain this Tortoise from?

That is his egg tooth. This is a very young Tortoise. All babies have it. It helps them get out of the egg. It will fall off eventually.

Egg tooth?! Well thats interested. I got him from a breeder down here.

I was told he was roughly 9 weeks

How long does it take for that little egg tooth to go away?

Thats one thing for sure i had no idea about!

It varies, I'd say within 90 days usually.
