These guys are just wonderful. So tiny. Split scutes makes them even more unique of a rare tortoise.

2nd smallest tortoise in the world. Males 5 to 51/2 and females 6ish sometimes little bigger. Pretty hard to find. They are extremely endangered in the wild and relatively rare in captivity.

Thanks, tortadise! I was confused when Sandra said they were Sullies.
I'd love to get a very small breed.

They look like tiny armadillos! I'll be going to the breeder's expo next month too. :)

Darling. Super awesome cute.
But HELP. Are these Kleinmann? as in Egyptians? as in Testudo kleinmanni? The other African tortoises category is confusing me.
Love them. Congrats!!!!

I think what is throwing everyone off is that the thread is in the African tortoise section and not in Mediterranean, Egyptian area. Virtual mixing of species ... the baby Egyptians are in Africa with all other African tortoises .... ... eeeeeeeeeeeek ..... noooooooooooooooooooo! LOL!

Wow-wow-wow ... they are beauties! Rare beauties!!! : )
