My 16 year old sulcata has just this last month started charging both at my partner and objects and I am worried he's going to hurt himself.

Has anyone any ideas on 1) why he's doing this and 2) how I stop it?

Thanks in advance and let me know if more info is needed.
Beth

P.s I refer to him as a he but I've never had him sexed.

More info on the size enclosure inside and outside and the size of him might be helpful. Also pics of the underside, tail area, would help to know its sex too.

Hiya
The indoor enclosure is around 10ft square and outdoor is around 28ft by 20ft. We have just moved to this property so wondered if he was maybe unsettled but been here around 3months now.
I don't have any pics of his underside at the moment I'm afraid but the shell is slightly curved on the underside. His shell is approx 16" long.
Thanks
Beth

It's just something the do, Beth. It's a territorial thing. He wants you out of his territory.
