Looking for a Foster Home for a Sulcata

Hi. We are being transferred to Germany and have been told by the USDA Vet that if we take our tortoise with us, we will not be able to bring him back to the US. So we are here looking for someone that would be willing to take our guy into their home for a minimum of three years to a maximum of five years while we are out of the country. Ideal situation would be for someone who would keep him for us and then be willing to return him when we got back. Another option, but not our first choice as we love our guy, would be someone who would be willing to adopt him, but keep us up to date on how he was doing,etc.

When we got him 6 years ago, we did not know a overseas transfer was even an option or we might have reconsidered, but here we are a forever family now looking for someone who can help us out.

We are located in Washington state (near Olympia), but willing to get Speedy to the right home, so we would be willing to travel with him to the right person.

While May 2016 seems like a long way off, it is not when trying to find a home for a tortoise. Please let me know if you are able to help
