Hi everyone! I'm looking for some help for a friend who is looking to place two of her juvenile sullies after her dog mauled both of them. The have seen a vet and have received medical attention and need to be kept inside for 2 months while healing because of the damage to their shells. These two are located in AZ. I would really appreciate some help thanks [SMILING FACE WITH OPEN MOUTH]

Is your friend asking any money for them, or is it an adoption?

I've been trying to post the pic I have of them but, it's not working . They are bandaged, so really nothing to see. I contacted the friend of the person who has them and asked if she will turn them over to me and then I will place them. So far, no answer. Let's pray for a good outcome

Ok, here's the update. The owner has agreed to surrender them to me. Now, I'm going to make arrangements to pick them up tomorrow.

I would also like to know how big. How sad! I may be able to help as well if they are small enough to ship

Stump or all gone? Tortoises can do okay with three legs. With a sulcata is will make life more interesting due to their size/weight and amount of grazing/moving they do. Do you know which leg it is?

I'm not sure how big they are, I'm guessing they are about 5" for the smaller one and 7" for the larger one. This is all off the one pic I have. I don't know which one has only three legs either :( I'm thinking they are juveniles as well

Main thing now is to worry about them not getting an infection going and getting things healed up. Does however give one a lot of things to think about, a lot of threads from other people who have had the same problems to run through one's mind trying to think of what all may be needed now and in their future.
