I put in the clover flat.. it was over seeded as you can tell.... but they love sprouts, so why not, give them tons.....

Such voracious little piggies!!! :D

You spoil them with all that clover...now they are going to want arugula! ;)

arugula? i got to look that up, after the gym... must work of 30 lbs this year, so i can fit in the plastic category...

i highly recommend getting eye surgery to fix your vision issues!!!

i give it no more than a week before all those sprouts have been eaten! hehe

Vision surgery, yeah i am hating.... one day, when my eyes stop changing.... i am 28 and havent seen the big E since 4th grade!

i look forward to all the sprouts eaten, then i can switch to my dichondra or grass flat!

The flats are so easy... it just takes time...

Heat them with a extra lamp you might have 24/7- no darkness- and they will grow much faster.

Annie Lancaster of Turtlestuff.com has a list of plants that you should and should not feed. In my opinion, she goes overboard on what to not feed, but here's what she says about clover:

Clovers are often listed on toxic plant lists which can worry and confuse people. The reason is clover can, if damaged by frost or wind-scorch, develop cyanogenic compounds. Clovers also contain high levels of protein. The proportions of the clovers and other leguminaceae needs to be kept as low as possible, particularly as they germinate more quickly than other seeds, and can suppress growth of other nutritionally important plants.

Offer clovers only in strict quantities.

Also, you should bear in mind that the sprouted plant contains much more of everything than the fully grown, mature plant.

She also doesn't like you to feed dichondra.
