This is Ma. Not shy, curious. She allows me to touch her and makes the "Aldabra-lift-up" when touched.

This is Mo. Always "on the run" when he sees me. He is shy and skittish, don`t want to be touched. Hopefully this behavior will change when he`s getting older.

It is amazing how different these two torts are. No one should say that reptiles or tortoises have no personality. They have !
I love them both. Little shelled children .... LOL !

They have the longest necks of all of my tortoises. Maybe the neck seems to be longer because their head is small. It is typical for aldabra tortoises. And they have big eyes.
Their growth is scary ! I think in one year they are as big as my sullies now.

Thank you Heather. Maybe you want to add an aldabra tortoise to your critter family too ?:)

Oh I’m tempted!!!! But I am discovering the cost of tortoise fencing now. And with these Giants, the acreage really starts adding up.. they’re not near as easy to keep in as my horses[emoji37]

Wow, but they are growing fast. And Ma is so sweet. Mo I am sure will eventually change I think the more you handle him the better. They are really doing well, well done on a job well done.
