... also know as Diamondback Terrapin.

A friend of mine sent me this female 2011 hatched "Concentric" - this is a "light-phased" Northern Terrapin. I received her today!

She is just shy 4 1/4" SCL -

Her mother and her 2012 siblings will be joining her this fall. Think I'm looking forward to that?

She had a buddy with her.... he's all male - has fungus on his carapace from basking -

He's a "different" color phase of concentric.. a proven breeder!

Meant to say "algae" - I'm old and don't know anything.. is it Tuesday yet?.. I have an important appointment that I can't miss!
