I am considering adopting a male red foot who has had his penis surgically removed after a neglected prolapse. Does anyone know if that lessens male aggresion around other males? Do they still express a constant need to mate?
It probably won't even slow him down.I am considering adopting a male red foot who has had his penis surgically removed after a neglected prolapse. Does anyone know if that lessens male aggresion around other males? Do they still express a constant need to mate?

Agression is hardwired into them.
I would not attempt to keep two males together with any fewer than 5 or more females.
