Can anyone help me identify if this Sulcata is a male or female? I am getting conflicting reports. 4 years old and 20#. Thank you in advance!
He/she is definitely 15 inches or very close to it. Will try to get a picture of the tail today.Still a little on the small side to be sure. Needs to be about 15 inches long to be sure. Also need a good picture of the Tail to have a good guess
Thank you! Will get a tail shot as soon as he/she wakes up!Looks female but need more pictures. By 20 lbs you certainly should be able to tell. I can see the anal scutes that are looking female, and the gulars do not look like they are elongating - so female so far. But the tail and spracaudal would be good to see. The tail should tell all at this size.

Score!Male
Definately a female. males tails are longer and even at that size will bend to the side if they try to tuck it closer to the shell. Can anyone help me identify if this Sulcata is a male or female? I am getting conflicting reports. 4 years old and 20#. Thank you in advance!
