Fruit of any kind should not be a part a Hermann's regular diet. While many fruits do contain very high amounts of certain beneficial vitamins most also contain large concentrations of sugars and acids. Hermann's tortoises, as well as other Testudo species digestive systems are not developed to process those sugars and acids. This "overload" of sugars especially can cause digestive bacteria imbalance which can quickly lead to diarrhea and dehydration.
While a small amount very infrequently does little harm, there is no real reason to feed them fruit if a good quality, well balanced diet is being fed on a regular basis.

Agreed, if you feel you must feed it then no more than once a month.

Rocket salad? I will assume you are in the UK, that is the only place I have heard it called that.
Dandelions are a good choice, various leaves of plants. Lots of stuff to choose from.
