Maybe hybrids maybe not

I went out today and caught a wild baby res about the same size as mine. Of course patterns vary, but all of mine still have this weird mustache. None like I've never seen in my years of hatching red ears which is why I believe they may be mixed with cooter. My male cooter is mating with the big female this year, so I know she didn't lay this clutch. Plus I found a nest of bad eggs and partially formed cooters from her lat year I missed. Maybe the male cooter mated with the female res? What was the male res doing last year?! I'm just rambling, but please, share your thoughts. Ultimately I think they're just really pretty red ears, but time will tell.

All the hatchlings have the same stash. The cooters don't however.
