Josh was nice enough to send me a sample to try with my box turtles.
While my adults didn't seem very interested, my yearlings ate as much as I gave them. Prep is like jello, fish jello. Equal amounts water and powder, mix and refrigerate. More water is a softer set, less is firmer and more viscous. Things could easily be added to it before it sets. It seems to be a good additional protein source to whatever diet that you're providing.

Whew! $30 for 2lbs of the gel stuff. I'd give it a try if there was any hope I would ever buy the product...but not for that price. I have too many turtles and it wouldn't be cost effective. But it sounds interesting.

It sounds steep, Yvonne but the product is dehydrated and must be re-hydrated before being fed so 2lbs will actually go a LONG way.
