I know nothing about Grass land formula or if Mazuri is loved by Russians.
I only know that Redfoot love Mazuri.

No kidding. My redfoot hatchlings tried Mazuri this week for the first time. Some had never had it before and were a little tentative at first, but once they got a taste, they were digging right in.

Not one or the other. Both.

I like Mazuri as a stand alone meal, or mixed with greens once or twice a week. I feel that it is a good supplement to an otherwise varied diet.

Most tortoises will not eat the ZooMed Grassland food by itself. Also, russians really aren't grass eaters. The value in this food is that if you are one of those people who must feed a lot of grocery store type foods, the grassland food if soaked and then mushed up with the spring mix or greens will amend the food and make it better for the tortoise. It adds the needed fiber and nutrients to that days meal.
