Thanks friends. Hunter is indeed a male. He is very inquisitive however this time of year he tends to Sloooowwww down. Spring and summer is a wild man! Again, thank you for the kind response.

He loves to climb things. He always checks everything out before he settles down.

If anything is out of the ordinary he investigates. For example, I left my golf shoe bag and pull cart on the floor and he was all over it.

Here is some of his enclosure (6 by 4). He has two heat pads in the fall and winter located on two opposite corners. We don't use heating pads in the spring and summer. He also has two lamps in the fall winter, one in the spring summer. He has a warm side of his enclosure and a cooler side. He also has a couple places to hide and sleep (one warm, one room temperature). His food is put in the same place everyday as well as his water. I hang leafy veggies from the side of his enclosure so he can forage without getting them sandy. I made a little hook out of a paper clip; it works great.

Here are a couple more pics including a few when he was smaller. When I got him he was only about a month old.

When I got him he was the size of one of those eggs! Thanks again for all the nice comments. I will be checking in quite frequently now that I have found this place. Moderators/webmasters keep up the great work!

Looks like the Easter Turtle comes to your house too!! The Easter bunny just didn't bring the right goodies, so we switched to the Easter turtle. :D

Looks like he is well loved. Does he play with his ball much?

No, I would never give him meat of any kind, nor would I feed him iceburg lettuce. Thank you for the comments. I'll post some more pics here soon!
