Its been advised the MVB aren't good for any tort as it can lead to health issues.
I haven't heard of health issues but it will cause pyramiding even with high humidity.
No. These bulbs are unreliable in their UV output, too hot, and as stated already, they cause pyramiding. CHs and RFs don't need a basking area. They need over all warm temps maintained by a radiant heat panel or CHE controlled by a thermostat in a large closed chamber.

Use an HO T5 linear strip florescent uvb for uvb and daytime light.
