Mixing larger torts with juveniles

Would mixing hatchlings or juveniles with larger tort be a good or bad idea?

Bad. The size difference makes bullying easy, the larger ones would likely get to resources easier, and depending on the size difference, the little ones might be trampled.

Okay no worries just wondering planning on getting a few this weekend so wanted to know bigger ones are 5” small ones are a few months old

Make sure that you quarantine your new tortoises for a few months before you place them near your already established two females.
It's easy to end up a lot of sick tortoises.

In the case of Redfoot. If you have an enclosure of a few hundred square feet. Mixing 5" and 3" animals COULD work. The size is similar. But most of us just say no. Because it only applies to Redfoot and even then, it doesn't always work out.
If you have limited space, dont attempt it. If you have an entire back yard to dedicate to tortoise pen(s), then you could always easily separate them.

Is climbing and walking on top of one another considered aggression?
