My wife travels for a living and goes to some really great places. Recently she got these Salvator water monitors pics in the city of Bangkok on the hotel grounds.
Thats awesome. I just read an article on this very same thing in Reptiles Magazine. There is some park there in Bangkok where there are a whole bunch of 6 and 7 footers just running around like pigeons. They swim with the paddle boaters and take little notice of the people.
Thanks for the responses! My wife is also a great wildlife photographer. Especially herps. We have some real gems. She has some monitor pics from Malaysia, Singapore and Africa too! I will try to dig them up.
The malls were most incredible, especially in Bangkok every time I went it was like an insane culture shock. There were always crazy animals like this, sting rays in pools in the lobbies that you could pet, people dancing, monkeys playing. I really miss it.
