Back in June I told you of a young YF tortoise that I had thought was male, but I discovered eggs...

Well, the past couple days she's been climbing into that baby pen every day and acting real restless.
Tonight when I went around doing my evening chores and checking on everyone, I found her in there again, but this time there were 8 eggs in there with her.
There are three of them (I'm guessing these were the first three laid) that had blood smears on them, and had extra deposits of calcium all around them. The rest of them, aside from a tiny marble, look fine. I'm assuming that she still had three more to deposit back in June, but for some reason held onto them. I guess she and I are pretty lucky she didn't become egg bound!
The original three eggs are still cooking and looking good!
