After a week or 2 of debating I finally had the time and materials to move the enclosure to a different part of my yard that does not flood whatsoever.

Right now I'm just using a ceramic planter base as a water dish would anyone have any better ideas?ImageUploadedByTortoise Forum1487200521.091805.jpg

I've always planted things slightly away from the fence. I've had tortoises (especially those crafty little russians) use plants as helpful ladders and climb them to get over the fence.

The plants are hibiscus, I transplanted them from the old enclosure which is why they look rather droopy.
Thanks for all the kind words, any advice on a better water dish?

Try a laundry machine overflow tray. Big plastic tray, about 20 bucks at lowes that's used in case your washer spills over.
