Hi i have just put some seeds in trays for my tortoises and i have used multi-purpose compost. Is this safe for them when my seeds start growing.I have got several trays already grown and have been giving my tortoises the leaves and flowers from these weeds and plants which again are in the same compost. It wont cause any problems will it? Is something i never thought about until now

If your compost has fertilizer in it or other chemicals it is not good. Alot of multi-purpose compost has chemical fertilzers or plant foods in them this should not be used. You need an organic compost for your torts food.
