This is my biggest love, Odin. He is my german shepherd. I absolutely love german shepherds, I grew up with them, actually k9 drug dogs as my dad worked for the police. They were the best and most loyal dogs. Since that that is all I (we) own. We still work on training them as well, which is awesome.

Odin is turning 2 years old on Wednesday the 22nd! I have had him since he was 8 weeks old. He has an amazing nose, and drive to work. I set to work with him to be a service dog. Mostly to take into hospitals to visit. Though his working drive is HUGE so we haven't completely accomplished that yet because he is so excited to work work work and not just lay there while people love on him. He does love it, but he gets very happy, haha.

On the other hand he does amazing work with me and my anxiety issues, so that I couldn't be more thankful about.

He came from a retired military breeder. The gentleman bred shepherds for use in the military and overseas. His adult male retired from the breeding program and he was allowed to have 1 litter at home but they were not allowed to be papered or anything. His dad is beautiful! Certainly got his looks from him. :)

His best friends at home are his buddy german shepherd, Jerry Lee. He is a pure white shepherd, and my dads. Then my moms yorkie, Winston, haha.

9 weeks old

My baby now, 1 year 11 months, 108lbs. Just came in from swimming and of course chose my bed to dry off on. Also taking a look at all of his goodies from backbox this month.

He's lovely. My pets help a lot with my anxiety. Horses are fantastic as well; they can pick up on your mood so it is especially important that you stay calm. Plus they're very sweet and gentle, if you don't already you might like to give it a go.

I've been riding since I was 5 and love every minute with the horses!

But, back onto the topic of GSDs. They are truly beautiful dogs. Enjoy yours. I'd love one!
