It's been a while and I wanted to update because I don't have tortoise friends IRL to nerd out with.

Carbo's last weigh-in was well over 600g, I think that he's going to be a big boy (or at this rate, girl).

His marbling started out as a fairly tame line, as seen in my first post. It began to spread:



And this is his most recent picture. I think his ancestors may have mingled with some jaguars ?

I love these animals so much. It's so amazing to watch them grow.
