Going to town on dinner! Hehe, nice photos there. It looks like that netting's not actually too bad of an idea. It probably makes them feel safer to break up all that blue sky in their line of vision. Sometimes I worry my Russian gets a little overwhelmed with the chicken wire over his enclosure; the wire is quite thin and the spaces between quite large, so he probably doesn't see it at all and worries about birds.

Yes we have hawks and stuff like that so my husband put hawk netting on top its strong and hard to see them in there with the lid down but sun still gets though its nice not to worried about them and we have it chained to the ground .so they can't move it or fit under.I swear they give you panic attacks on purpose lol . and ty I think my to just love the camera.

Very cool to use the hawk netting! :) One advantage I've found for my chicken wire is that the goldfinches are still able to fit through it to eat my extra evening primrose seeds. Boy, do they love those!
