Hi all!

After months of taking care of other people's tortoises, I finally have my own! Here are some pictures!

Thanks! I'm going to assume it is a she for now, since that is what it was incubated to be.

What a perfect little Russian girl. Love her color and shell! Congrats, a tortoise of your very own is a wonderful thing, indeed! Woo hoo, baby! : )

Thanks everyone! I have a question of Russian owners. My little girl buries herself everyday by about 2, and her lights go off at 7:30. About 8 every evening she crawls out of her burrow and climbs into her water bowl and just kinda "plays" in it. She does drink some but she generally just walks around in the water. When I give her her soak in the morning, she doesn't move at all, doesn't drink or anything. Does any else's tortoise act like this or is mine just being weird? Thanks!

She's very cute! I'm not a Russian owner, so hopefully someone can chime I about that. I would think it's good she soaks on her own though, just my two cents...
