started with wooden pallets, attached feed bags, and then chicken wire and hardware cloth portland cement and sand mix Vander came to check out the progress, he has free range of about an acre. after concrete stain put on with spray bottles bromeliads put back on, and deck boards used for the fence peahens came to check things out.

The size is approximentlly 25 feet by 30 feet lots of shaded areas and hiding spots for the pool, I dug out a shallow depression, laid down chicken wire and covered with cement.

What type of tree is in the first picture on the far right?

That's Oldhamii bamboo, some of the older stalks have bent over and thats what you are seeing. the base of the bamboo is further back behind all the leaves. Some of the upright stalks are over 50 foot tall.

I haven't made any hides yet. I do have an old airline dog crate, and thought about taking it apart and covering each half with cement, making two rock hides out of it.
