Yes i can get you all the info you want but i am no experts by any means !

All i can say now is that the whole closed chamber thing is completely confirmed by what i'm seeing with my tortoises.

I got them at the end of the rain season, they hatched right in the middle of the rain season. they were approximately 60ish grams each. The dry season here last around 6 month (and by dry i mean it still rain from time to time but it's awfully hot during the day and you have sahara dust that deposit everywhere).

So in 8 month of mostly dry season they doubled in size...

Then rain season came in June and then they went full on binge eating like pigs, they could eat like
15 hibiscus flowers and 1 cactus pad each. With that came massive turds also :oops:...

So in those rainy 6 months, you can see on the scale that they almost triple their weight...
Congo being the most obvious with the big shell growth gap.

But when i see on the forum how fast the closed chambered babies grow, i'm far behind with my tortoise.

So with that year of monitoring mine... Turbo growth is humidity related...
