We've had our sully hercules for about 3 or 4 months now. We have followed Tom's instructions to the T. He eats about 2 handfuls of grass a day is soaked twice a day. And his temps are correct along with the humidity. My worry is that in the last month he has yet to go grow any. He has been 6 cm long and about 5 cm wide for that whole time. All I heard about was how fast a sully will grow and I'm not seeing should I be worried. And he also gets calcium twice a week

Are you able to weight the little bugger? I don't know that soaking twice a day is needed and that much calcium seems like a lot to me. Others, though will certainly be chiming in.

Is grass the only thing you're feeding ? He needs more variety in the diet.

Weight is a much better measurement to be able to see if he is growing at an appropriate rate.

I agree with @Jodi. Tortoise babies grow thicker sometimes and you won't SEE the progress. you can buy kitchen scales that will measure in grams that will tell you, hopefully, that they are gaining every week. that's what is important.
