I have a sulcata that was hatched in 2008. He is only 23 pounds though i took him to the vet for a fecal check i went to a new vet and he was surprised my old one didnt tell me he was so behind. I purchased him last year in every other way hes healthy. I wonder if hes stunted or if he will still grow? Should i increase his food intake? He lives in a 20 x 40 paddock with two younger females i purchased i do not know their ages. Im hoping they are not behind too i have a bumpy female that was already that way when i got her shes 14 pounds. I also have a smaller one thats 7 pounds the vet saw them today too all wormed and generally healthy. Im hoping for advice to catch them up the vet gave me a good diet sheet i also supplement their food with d3 calcium as well.

Yes. Very small for his age.you can try adding some muzuri to their diets a few times a week along with their grazing on weeds and grass unlimited and some greens.. endive, collards, dandelions, arugula, kale etc

Thanks i guess ill take a scale next time i purchase a tortoise. I hope this wont ruin his health or stunt him. He has a real good personality and appetite.
