My tortoise started ramming me when I would feed him.

My baby sulcata Squirt has just started ramming my hand when I hand feed him or her what should I do?

I got my tortoise Squirt a few weeks ago and he just started ramming me and he is still really young (a few months old) we don't know his gender but for right now everyone calls him he because it's easier.

try scratching his shell around the top/rear...perhaps you will get a dance out of him.....make sure to use your nails to give the shell a gentle scratch near the top/rear....and ramming just comes with the tortoise....don't take it personal...
