Hi everyone
My red earded slider turtle is 1 year old and seems a little fat. I probably feed a little to often and maybe to much.

I tried posting a picture but it wont let me upload my own photos so I upload a screenshot. He looks like that under the leg area.
Is this a problem should I reduce feeding or is this ok since hes growing?
I feed pellets reptomin and dried shrimp
Every day and sometimes a few insects.
He has water lettuce that he also loves20210119_154007.jpg

This sometimes means urinary trouble. Are you keeping the water clean? Does the turtle get plenty of exercise? Cut out the shrimp and see if that helps.

Don't just cut down, stop it completely.
