My yellows enjoying lunch

Very gorgeous tortoises!! I really want a yellow foot (probably 2) eventually, when I have more room!! How big are they? The adult ones? And they lived in a basement?? We're they neglected? How did you come across them?

They are between 8 and 12 inches.
The lady who had them said she loved them, and seemed to know a bit about caring for them (under the circumstances they could be a lot worse off) .....they were posted on craigslist due to "health issues" in the family.....best $180 I ever spent :)

Sweet! I missed my old yellowfoot so much, that I broke down this year and got a hatchling. :) I was noticing with the picture of your two hatchlings, that the one on the right looks like he has a bit of his carapace notched out. Did you do that to ID them or am just seeing things or something else happened?

On his little bottom ? He's just always been that way (not sure what it's from). His students are also a little more concave than the other one.
